Day 2 - the big dig

We need bigger toys.  Enter the bigger backhoe.  We only had to cut off a small piece of the house to get it in.

Fortunately we made this corner without issue.

Now let's get that footing out of there.

 At the end of the day we had a large cut in the hill and an even larger pile o dirt.  One more day and we will start forming the retaining wall.
