Warm and toasty

Such a bevy of activity.  Monday the insulation guys showed up.   Oops wrong truck - hose wouldn't reach even though the boss had been to the site 3+ time.  Back to the shop for another truck.  Ooops hose won't reach.  Aaaargh.

We did some clean up and Andrew built our new gate to the back.  Beats two trashcans and a shiny board.

On Tuesday, the insulator guys were back with the correct equipment.   Casey and I went to Oma's to pick up her stained glass windows.  On the way up I grabbed a nice white fridge.  We pulled her windows and did a few odd jobs.  Then we got a call from the roofer that the sheet rock guys were wandering about.  They weren't supposed to be here until Friday.  A couple quick calls and we knew that the sheetrock was being delivered and the insulation was done (everything but under the floor).  Upon arriving back we snapped a few pictures of our nice quiet house.  The insulation was spray in foam so it is very nice looking as well as super insulating.

Oh but the night was young.  Off we went to pick up a stove, microwave, and dishwasher in Cupertino.  All in good shape, energy star, and clean.

This morning Annette headed up to Oma's.  I stayed back and went to pick up a washer dryer (6:15 in San Jose).  Then Casey and I dropped Oma's glass with the lady who will restore and mount it in the frames.
